Terms & Conditions -
relating to the use of this website and of our services.
We gain much pleasure in
providing or facilitating the finest services and we take the greatest care with all
those associated with us. Although complex in nature, our role where you
the "end-user" are concerned is principally that of a facilitator. In
essence, we match myriad needs to available resources.
Each member of the British Institute of
Butlers and SBS is expected to operate within strict
guidelines designed to protect you the employer. Originally the Institute was a private members
society. We now also operate as an agency under the
Employment Agencies Act 1973. There are certain legal obligations that
agents, employers or employees must comply with. In using our
services you agree to abide by these laws and to fulfil the terms therein.
Most notably (but not exclusively) the
requirements referred to in paragraph (2):
(a) the person for whom the agency
acts (in this case the employer) has appointed the agency
(us) as his/her agent with authority to enter
into the contract on their behalf; and
(b) where the agency acts for the work-seeker (employee), it is permitted by
regulation 26(1) to charge a fee in relation to the introduction or
supply to which the contract relates. |
